About Me

kmint
Sacramento, CA, United States
I saw my first "I Love Lucy" episode when I was eight years old. It was "Lucy Goes to Scotland." I was instantly hooked. My dad used to tape any "I Love Lucy" episode he could find on TV onto dozens of VHS tapes (on one of these he wrote, "Loo-cy"). Shortly after I discovered Lucy, I started researching Lucille Ball, then the show itself. By the time I was in high school, I had two bookshelves full of information on "I Love Lucy", most of which I've read at least twice. My love for Lucy has resulted in several reports for various classes, the first being in fifth grade, the most recent for a women's study course in college. I also (like most Lucy fans, I'm sure) own all nine seasons of the show, which I watch from beginning to end a few times throughout the year. Lucy has become a constant in my life, and I love to share it with other people. Last year I began posting a clip from each "I Love Lucy" episode on my Facebook page, and I wanted to expand that to a blog dedicated to all things Lucy. Please feel free to contact me with any and all things Lucy!
